“I take pictures of what makes me smile.”
I'm Jenny, in the middle of 2020, like many people at that time, I started paying more attention to sunrises, sunsets, and what was happening around me.
What you see here is the result of (let’s call it) gentle encouragement to share some of my pictures beyond my social media bubble.
You might spot me climbing over rocks, face down in sand, or lying flat on a boulder — all to get the photo I saw in my mind’s eye.
I don’t carry heavy camera gear. In fact, about 80% of the images on this site were taken on my iPhone (currently the iPhone 15 Pro). In 2021, I was gifted a Canon SX740HS, it’s not much bigger than my phone, but its zoom lets me capture some wildlife I’d never have managed before.

When not taking snaps around Stonehaven I'll be somewhere in Scotland off following some bird I've heard in a tree miles away. I’m drawn to wildlife, sky drama and sometimes the social post worthy food pic!
